Welcome

I've been a horror fan for as long as I can remember. As a young child, I was completely obsessed with Universal's famous stable of monsters. Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, the Invisible Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon captured my imagination in a way most of my peers simply could not understand...to them, these were simply hokey, boring old movie characters. But they fascinated me like nothing else ever had up to that point, and this led directly to my reading everything I could about horror, discovering guys like Freddy and Jason, Romero's zombie films, et al,  and a few years later, getting heavily into the works of Stephen King, Clive Barker and Poe. Basically, the genre has always been a passion of mine, and I hope like-minded individuals will find my little ramblings about it amusing, if nothing else.
